1. Overview
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the RPGTea website and services operated by Myron John Tataryn, operating as RPGTea (“RPGTea,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing our website, purchasing products, subscribing to services, participating in RPGTea programs, or engaging with community platforms, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
These Terms include and incorporate RPGTea’s Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, and all rules governing The Tavern and Guild Membership systems.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this site or make purchases.
By using this site, you represent and warrant that you are legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Products and Services
RPGTea offers specialty tea products, subscription services (“Guild Memberships”), a rewards system (“The Tavern”), and access to community platforms including the official RPGTea Discord server.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue, or limit any product, service, or feature at any time without notice. We may also refuse or cancel orders at our sole discretion.
We make reasonable efforts to display product details accurately, but we do not guarantee that product descriptions, images, or other content are error-free or perfectly accurate.
4. Pricing and Payments
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice and to correct pricing errors even after an order has been placed.
Full payment is required at the time of purchase. If a payment is declined, reversed, or disputed, we reserve the right to cancel the associated order or subscription.
5. Orders and Acceptance
Orders are not considered accepted until they have been processed and confirmed by us.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, product unavailability, or violations of these Terms.
If an order is cancelled after payment has been processed, refunds will be issued in accordance with our Refund Policy.
6. Shipping
All shipping is subject to our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
RPGTea is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, lost or stolen packages after confirmed delivery, or incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.
7. The Tavern (XP Rewards System)
The Tavern is RPGTea’s rewards and discount system, where customers may earn and redeem experience points (“XP”) for discounts and other benefits.
XP may be earned through eligible purchases, promotions, or other qualifying activities as determined by RPGTea.
XP has no cash value and cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged for currency, or redeemed outside of approved RPGTea systems.
RPGTea reserves the right to modify, adjust, suspend, or terminate The Tavern system, including XP earning rates, redemption values, rewards, eligibility requirements, and available benefits, at any time without notice.
XP may expire or be removed from accounts due to inactivity, account termination, refunds, chargebacks, payment disputes, or suspected abuse of the system.
Any abuse, manipulation, or exploitation of The Tavern system may result in forfeiture of XP, cancellation of rewards, suspension of accounts, and/or permanent termination of associated accounts.
8. Guild Memberships (Subscriptions)
Guild Memberships are recurring monthly subscription services that provide access to exclusive benefits, discounts, and rewards.
By subscribing, you agree that:
· Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the next billing cycle
· Billing will occur on the same calendar date each month, or on the last calendar day if the original billing date does not exist in a given month
· Monthly Guild Memberships may be cancelled at any time prior to the next renewal date
· Prepaid Guild Memberships (including 3-month, 6-month, and annual (12-month) plans) remain active for the full selected term and may not be cancelled or partially refunded prior to the end of the prepaid billing period
· Subscription plan changes, swaps, downgrades, billing frequency changes, or cancellations requested within 3 days of the next billing cycle date may not take effect until the following billing cycle
· No partial refunds will be issued for unused time
Guild benefits may include, but are not limited to:
· Exclusive discounts
· Early access to products
· Reduced free shipping thresholds
· Access to special offers or promotions
All Guild benefits, pricing, and perks are subject to change at any time at RPGTea’s discretion.
9. Founder Status and Promotions
Founder status is a limited promotional designation granted to qualifying early Guild Members.
Lifetime perks associated with Founder status are conditional upon maintaining an active subscription.
If a Founder’s Subscription is cancelled, suspended, or terminated at any time, all associated lifetime perks will be forfeited.
Upon reactivation, perks will revert to the standard level based on the account’s current XP or membership status.
Promotional offers, discounts, and rewards are subject to eligibility requirements and may be modified, revoked, or discontinued at any time without notice.
10. Discounts and Redemption
XP rewards, Guild benefits, promotional discounts, and other offers may not be combined unless explicitly stated.
RPGTea reserves the right to limit or restrict discount stacking at its sole discretion.
Discounts and rewards may not be applied retroactively to previous purchases.
11. Abuse and Exploitation
Any attempt to manipulate, exploit, or abuse RPGTea systems, promotions, subscriptions, rewards, discounts, or community platforms is strictly prohibited.
This includes, but is not limited to:
· Creating multiple accounts to gain additional rewards or benefits
· Repeatedly subscribing and cancelling to exploit promotions or perks
· Attempting to bypass discount limitations
· Engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or suspicious activity
RPGTea reserves the right to:
· Revoke XP or rewards
· Cancel discounts or promotions
· Suspend or terminate accounts
· Deny access to Guild Memberships or promotional offers
· Refuse service at our sole discretion
12. Community Platforms (Discord)
Participation in the official RPGTea Discord server or any associated community platform is a privilege, not a right.
Users agree to engage respectfully and refrain from harassment, hate speech, spam, or disruptive behavior.
RPGTea reserves the right to remove content, suspend, or permanently ban users from community platforms at its sole discretion.
13. Account Responsibility
Customers are responsible for maintaining the security and accuracy of their account information.
RPGTea is not responsible for lost rewards, XP, discounts, or benefits resulting from unauthorized access, customer error, or failure to maintain accurate account information.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including brand names, product names, logos, graphics, written content, and branding elements, is the property of RPGTea and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used without prior written permission.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RPGTea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of our products or services.
This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, data, revenue, or business opportunities.
All products and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RPGTea from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the website or products, or violation of any applicable laws or third-party rights.
17. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, suspend accounts, or terminate access at any time for any reason, including but not limited to suspected fraud, abuse of policies, harmful behavior toward the brand or community, or violations of these Terms.
18. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and any associated subscriptions or rewards.
We also reserve the right to recover any outstanding balances, fees, costs, or lost rewards associated with the dispute.
19. No Resale
Products purchased from RPGTea are intended for personal use only and may not be resold, redistributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
20. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how your personal information is collected, used, and protected.
21. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will take effect immediately upon posting on the website.
Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
22. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Manitoba, Canada, and applicable federal Canadian laws.
